Half a decade may have passed since the fiery American, John McEnroe, had burst onto the scene with his Ghibli track top and Nike Wimbledon's but one thing was for sure, Sergio Tacchini still remained the king of the court in 1985. As McEnroe's dominance started to fade away it was the next generation of tennis talent like Matts Wilander that would fly the Tacchini flag moving into the mid 80s. Winning the French Open & Australian Open both 3 times between 1982 & 1988 as well as the US Open in 1988, Wilander was one of the youngest ever players to win 4 Grand Slam titles by the age of 20.
