The Patrick Monaco trainer is an original archive style from the French sportswear brand that now arrives in an updated classy navy colourway.
Named after the sovereign city-state of millionaires on the French Riviera where Bjorn Borg use to call home that also hosts the prestigious Grand Prix circuit each year, the Patrick Monaco adds a touch of class to any 'casual' trainer collection. Following on from the huge success of working exclusively with Patrick back a few years back to revive their iconic cagoule after literally hundreds of requests from our followers, we've continued to work with the original 'Patrice Beneteau' brand to revive various footwear silhouettes from their archives. Renowned for its famous two stripes & classic football heritage, the footwear revival of the brand has seen us re-launch the likes of the Villan, the Liverpool, the Copenhagen & the Rio to name a few. Our most recent revival release earlier in the year saw the re-launch of the Patrick Monaco trainer, an original training shoe from the golden era of Keegan perms & kick abouts.

As far as classic 80s sportswear brands are concerned they don't really get much better than Patrick. Thanks to endorsement deals with the likes of Kevin Keegan & Michel Platini, Patrick was the football boots brand of the era. Every 80s kid wanted a bit of Patrick on their feet and it didn't really matter if the soles were studded or gum soled. One of the most sought after brands of the 1980s, the football connection quickly latched onto the whole Casual thing, with young football fans sporting Patrick cagoules & classic gum soled trainers on the terraces as a 2 striped alternative to adidas, Diadora or Puma.

First introduced in the 1980s, the Monaco trainer is an OG all purpose training shoe that was recently revived from the Patrick archives. Featuring brushed suede uppers in a classy navy colourway, the Patrick Monaco trainer revives the leisurely suede styles of the 1970s & 1980s. Other highlights include tonal stripes to the side walls, t-toe detailing to the front & Monaco branding in gold foiling to the lateral sides.
