Patrick Get Geared Up For The Rainy Season With These Sporty Shell Jackets
Patrick have introduced a range of lightweight shell jackets for the latest season giving a nod to their 80s heritage of Casuals, cagoules & Keegan perms.
If there's one classic 80s brand that knows a thing or two about sporty jackets it's Patrick. Pioneering a new wave of "Casual" cagoules back in the 1980s, it was the original Patrice B_n_teau brand that gave us one of the most iconic styles of the era. Up there with the Settanta's, the Lois cords, the argyle knits & the Borg Elite's, the heritage of the Patrick cagoule to the UK's homegrown Casual scene is in a complete league of its own. Following the re-release of the original Patrick cagoule a few years back, Patrick have now introduced a range of sporty shell jackets for the latest season giving a nod to their 80s sportswear heritage.

As far as classic 80s sportswear brands are concerned they don't really get much better than Patrick. Thanks to endorsement deals with the likes of Kevin Keegan & Michel Platini, Patrick was the football boots brand of the era. Every 80s kid wanted a bit of Patrick on their feet and it didn't really matter if the soles were studded or gum soled. One of the most sought after brands of the 1980s, the football connection quickly latched onto the whole Casual thing, with young football fans sporting Patrick cagoules & classic gum soled trainers on the terraces as a 2 striped alternative to adidas, Diadora or Puma. For the latest season Patrick have introduced a selection of shell jackets just in time for the rainy season. Highlights include the Chapman II jacket which features a lightweight polyamide shell in a striking light blue colourway alongside an adjustable toggle hood & hem. There's also the William jacket which boasts a cotton/polyamide mix shell with military inspired pockets and a drawstring hood for an optimal fit.
