The Sergio Tacchini Hooded Casual Jacket is Another 80s Casual Classics Exclusive
We're back with another exclusive courtesy of the Sergio Tacchini Hooded Casual jacket which features a lightweight nylon taslan fabric.
As much as you can't beat a classic track top, our more recent work with the legendary Italian sportswear brand Sergio Tacchini, has seen us introduce more modern outerwear silhouettes like the Terrace jacket. The whole "casual" thing has always been about outerwear from day one from Fila's prestigious Snow Time ski-jackets to the original waxed cotton wares from Barbour. In the case of Sergio Tacchini their original 80s outerwear came in the form of cagoules, classic windbreakers & colour-blocking ski jackets. Combining Tacchini's sporting heritage from the last 50 years alongside our own colourful spin on casual sportswear, we've now worked with the celebrated sportswear label once again with the Hooded Casual jacket which features a lightweight nylon taslan fabric.

Originally founded in 1966 by the Italian tennis champion of the same name, Sergio Tacchini rose to fame at the pinnacle of casual sportswear in the late 1970s & early 1980s. Worn by a new generation or rock 'n' roll tennis stars like John McEnroe, with centre court meltdowns & non 'white' tennis-wear, Tacchini's vision of style driven sportswear took the elite tennis world by storm. One of the most sought after sportswear brands of the original Casuals, it was the various track tops from the iconic Italian sportswear brand that really put the ST logo on the map. Moving into the late 1980s & early 90s Tacchini's designs really captured the colourful sportswear trends sponsoring American tennis legends like Pete Sampras as he rose through the ranks.

Exclusive to 80s Casual Classics in an assortment of colourways such as pink rose & dark olive, the Sergio Tacchini Hooded Casual jacket champions the Italian sportswear brands colourful tennis heritage, the Casuals' love for a bit of light outerwear & the very latest terrace trends. Featuring a nylon taslan fabric that is durable, lightweight & breathable making it a great piece for the transitional summer months of sweltering sunshine one minute & the next raining' cats & dogs. Other highlights include a fixed hood with large patch pockets to the lower alongside an adjustable toggle hem. The fully lined jacket also features elasticated cuffs with a full front zip fastening & embroidered ST branding to the left chest.
