If you have been following 80s Casual Classics over the last 15 years you will know how much films have played in our story. From proudly bringing back a range of archive sportswear styles to actually working on set with the crme de la crme of the UK's film industry from Paul Anderson to Nick Love. Our next film project takes a slightly turn in the form of 4 stroke Vespa's &vintage clothing. It is with great pleasure to announce our very latest film project, The Pebble & The Boy, which now launches for August 2021. 80s Casual Classics have proudly sponsored the film as well as providing the wardrobe for the cast. The retro casual inspired wardrobe features an assortment of staple 80s styles from the likes of Fila, Sergio Tacchini adidas, Gabicci, Pretty Green, Fred Perry, Gola & Kickers. A celebration of mod culture and retro casual fashion. The story follows John Parker, a nineteen year old from Manchester who embarks on the journey from Manchester to Brighton in memory of his late father. Inspired by the music of Paul Weller & The Jam, the film captures John's story after he inherits his estranged fathers house. Following a scooter crash, John's father passes away and leaves all his original Mod memorabilia and an old Lambretta scooter to John. In memory of his late father John then decides to ride to Brighton, the spiritual home of the Mods, to scatter his fathers ashes. Some of the cast includes the likes of Patsy Kensit (Lethal Weapon), Sacha Parkinson (Coronation Street) & Ricci Harnett (Rise Of The Footsoldier). 'Pebble is a British road movie with a big heart. Director and writer Chris Green lives and breathes everything Mod _ and that really shows. From the music, the fashion and the scooters, he gives the audience a glimpse into his world.'
