The Napaijri Rainforest Winter Jacket Features Comfortemp® Thermal Insulation
As we start to transition into the colder months, Italian outerwear brand Napapijri have upgraded their iconic Rainforest with some Autumn/Winter ready tech.
There's a lot of brands out there that have a certain style or silhouette that has built their reputation. For Lacoste it was the polo shirt. For Alpha Industries it was the MA-1 bomber and for Baracuta it was the Harrington. For the Italian brand Napapijri, it's most definitely the Rainforest jacket. The Norwegian flag logo brand simply wouldn't be Napapijri without their Rainforest jacket, something they have been supplying their cagoule crazed customers since the 1990s. Taking design inspiration from 90s snowboarding style & the "cool boarders" of the slopes, the classic over-the-head silhouette has become a terrace icon over the last 30 years. Now introduced in an updated Winter version, the Rainforest jacket returns with some added cold-weather tech.

Following on from the launch of the Napapijri Skidoo jacket in 1990, Napapijri first unveiled the Rainforest Jacket 5 years later in 1995. Similar in appearance to the Skidoo, the Rainforest jacket featured the iconic kangaroo pocket to the front and the famous overhead smock silhouette. With a combination of vibrant colourways, Scandinavian design & Italian styling, the Rainforest jacket has become a staple among football terraces all over Europe. Alongside its technical qualities, the concept of matching colourways of outerwear with trainers has also played a key role in the success of the iconic jacket. With subtle tweaks from season to season the Rainforest jacket looks just as good today as it did back in the mid 90s.

The classic 90s cagoule now gets treated to a new winterised version for 2026. Featuring the original 1/4 zip, over the head style of the original Rainforest jacket, the updated winter version also packs Comfortemp® thermal insulation & recycled down free padding for when the mercury really drops. The signature Kangaroo pocket remains to the front with the iconic Norwegian flag logo to the front pocket. Other highlights include side seam zips for added breathability alongside an adjustable toggle hood & hem. A breathable membrane & water resistant polyamide shell are also thrown into the technical mix for the ultimate bit of terrace toggery to battle the elements.
