Putting an 80s Casual Classics spin on the original Sergio Tacchini Orion silhouette from the 1980s this latest exclusive release celebrates the tennis legacy of the Italian sportswear brand.

The history of the Sergio Tacchini Orion track top goes back to the 1980s, in particularly the early 80s with the Avalon Split Star, a more style driven version of the Sergio Tacchini Star track top which was famously worn by John McEnroe. The classic training style was also available in a caf_ racer version which featured a biker style collar just like Fila did with the Terrinda in 1982. The OG 80s tracksuit was a testament to Tacchini's vision of a fashionable sportswear brand with the pastel blue & yellow colourways of the iconic tennis style becoming a key look among the casual elite of the 1980s. If there was one Tacchini track top every young Casual kid wanted in the early 1980s, the Orion was definitely up there.

Now introduced as an 80s Casual Classics exclusive, the Orion track top returns to its spiritual home in a stylish white & navy colourway. Given a nod to the original colourway of the Star track top as famously worn by John McEnroe as he lifted the Wimbledon trophy in 1983, the Orion now gets the 80s Casual Classics treatment. Drawing inspiration from McEnroe's 'Davis Cup' embroidered logo, we've added '80s Casual Classics' in a similar font to the right chest, alongside original ST branding to the left chest.
