Worn by the rock 'n' roll superstar during his Grand Slam heydays, the Dallas polo shirt or Supermac as it was also known, was famously worn by McEnroe at an exhibition match between Jimmy Connors in Chicago in 1982 where the two top seeded players squared up to each other as things got a little bit too heated. McEnroe also wore the iconic Tacchini style as he lifted the Wimbledon trophy in 1984, celebrating his 3rd Wimbledon title and his most successful year ever.
