Our latest collection of paisley prints from the British born heritage brand Pretty Green are just what you need for the coming festival season.
Worn by LSD loving rock 'n' rollers like John Lennon and Mick Jagger in the late 1960s and early 1970s, the Paisley print became a symbol of counter culture & swinging sixties London. The phycedlic print was synonymous with the peace movement that were against the slaughter of soldiers in Vietnam & radical free thinkers that pioneered the whole 'flower power' phenomenon. Famous for its trippy patterns it was no surprise really that Liam Gallagher would look to Paisley for Pretty Green. A lover of all things rock 'n' roll, the Beatles and mind altering substances, the Paisley print for Pretty Green was a match made in heaven, or in this instance Nirvana (the transcendent state of Buddhism not the band). Our latest paisley prints from Pretty Green are just what you need for the coming festival season.

After the Gallagher brothers parted their ways in 2009, following on stage punch ups and even law suits against each other, Liam focused on his own solo ventures with the introduction of his very own designer label, Pretty Green. Capturing a range of British subcultures from Northern Soul, Britpop, the Mods and all things Manchester, the British brand was aptly named after the track from The Jam which encapsulates the mod revival of the early 80s. Liam didn't just start a brand for the sake of starting a brand though. Pretty Green allowed Liam to put his own personal passion for clothes and music into a rock 'n' roll influenced brand that captured British street culture like it had never been captured before.
