The Napapijri Rainforest V2 is an updated summer version of the legendary silhouette from the Italian outerwear brand & features a recycled nylon ripstop fabric.
Although it may sound more like an alpine ski resort in Sweden somewhere, and the fact the logo is a Norwegian flag, Napapijri are in fact 100% Italian. The brand have been supplying us with their world renowned cagoule style jackets since the early 90s which were born out of the 90s snowboarding style driven silhouettes of the ski slopes. Over the last 30 plus years Napapijri has become a fan favourite across the UK & Europe whether its worn for matchdays or everyday-wear. The celebrated Rainforest jacket now gets a technical summer update for the latest season with the introduction of the Rainforest V2 jacket which now arrives at 80s Casual Classics.

Following on from the launch of the Napapijri Skidoo jacket in 1990, Napapijri first unveiled the Rainforest Jacket 5 years later in 1995. Similar in appearance to the Skidoo the Rainforest jacket featured the iconic kangaroo pocket to the front and the famous overhead smock silhouette. With a combination of vibrant colourways, Scandinavian design & Italian styling, the Rainforest jacket has become a staple among football terraces all over Europe. Alongside its technical qualities, the concept of matching colourways of outerwear with trainers has also played a key role in the success of the iconic jacket. With subtle tweaks from season to season the Rainforest jacket looks just as good today as it did back in the mid 90s and is now treated to a technical summer update.
