Introducing The Fila Zio Track Top As Worn By Gene in A Town Called Malice

The Fila Zio track top is an original White Line design that features in Nick Love's latest crime drama, A Town Called Malice.

After working on the wardrobe for Nick Love's very latest crime drama, we can now unveil another exclusive track top style as featured in A Town Called Malice. The Fila Zio features on Gene Lord played by Jack Rowan, the Bafta nominated actor in Born to Kill who has also previously featured in Peaky Blinders, Noughts + Crosses & Wreck to name a few. Set on the flamboyant Costa del Sol in the early 80s, A Town Called Malice follows the Lords, a crime family of petty thieves from South London that escape to Spain following a murder. Alongside Jack Rowan as Gene Lord there's also the likes of Jason Flemyng (Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels) as the Lord families top dog, Albert Lord and Tahirah Sharif (The Haunting of Bly Manor) as Gene’s girlfriend, Cindy Carter. After its original release on Sky earlier in the year, A Town Called Malice is still available to stream via Now TV. Continuing the legacy of Pierluigi Rolando's prestigious White Line, the Zio track top first arrived on the flamboyant tennis scene of the early 1980s. Famously worn by Bjorn Borg as he walked out to face John McEnroe in the US Open final in 1981, the Zio had all the hallmarks of the legendary White Line style. Originally available in full tracksuit form, just like the majority of Fila track top styles at the time, the Zio was 'Made in Italy' and was available in the iconic French Blue colourway. Thanks to our previous collaborations with Fila & Nick Love we were able to revive the legendary White Line style for A Town Called Malice which premiered earlier in the year. Available in the iconic French Blue colourway, the Zio features the famous baseball inspired collar with contrasting stripes & piping detailing.
