The Fila Terrinda Pro Badge Track Top is just about as it good as it gets when it comes to elite casual sportswear from the early 1980s.
Does it really get much better than the Fila Terrinda Pro Badge track top? Probably not. The Terrinda is still considered the crme de la crme of casual sportswear, and one of the original White Line designs from an era of Borg mania, one-upmanship & all out peacocking. The Settanta Mk3, or Terrinda as it was more commonly known, marked one of the last 'BJ' styles the Swedish great would wear throughout his highly successful sporting career. Introduced at a pinnacle of casual fashion the Fila Terrinda still remains one of our most talked about styles of all time. When it comes to the Terrinda however, it's all about the Pro Badge, which now arrives in some OG inspired colourways.

By the time the Terrinda came on the scene in 1982, the White Line had already given us its fair share of flamboyant style driven sportswear. Designed by the legendary Fila designer, Pier Luigi Rolando, the White Line caused a seismic shift in the tennis world. It's name itself was a dig at the traditional (all wihite) tennis wear that was worn at the likes of Wimbledon, sticking two fingers up to traditions with more colour than centre court had ever seen before.

Following the legacy of the Settanta Mk1 from 1976 and the Settanta MkII from 1980, the Settanta MkIII (Terrinda) took style driven sportswear to new levels with its biker jacket style collar, padded shoulder detail, white piping, Italian styling and luxurious velour fabric. If you were a young Casual kid back in 1982 the chances are you had a Terrinda, or you really wanted one. The expensive price tag and colourful Italian styling made the Terrinda one of the most more desirable sportswear styles at the time. The Terrinda's significance to the whole Casual scene is absoloutely huge.

When speaking about the Firm in 2009 Nick Love said; 'The Terrinda was, and still is, the last word in elite casual sports wear. To make The Firm without key characters wearing Terrinda's would be criminal.' Although the Terrinda had already featured on Tamer Hassan in 'The Business' from 2005, it was 'The Firm' from 2009 that really brought back the casual sportswear style, not only to its original fans from the 1980s but a new generation of casual admirers.
