Fila Gold: The Smarter Side of Fila
First introduced back in the noughties off the back of The Business, Fila Gold is Fila's premium line inspired from the sportswear archives for a smarter alternative.
The mid to late noughties really was Fila's revival moment since the whole basketball sneaker craze of the early 90s. Coming back bigger than ever, it was Nick Love's The Business from 2005 that introduced classic White Line styles from the 1970s & 1980s to a new noughties sportswear consumer. Something like this whole 90s nostalgia we're experiencing at the moment, 2005 was like an 80s catwalk of Settanta's & Sergio's and with that came the introduction of 80s Casual Classics. As the die hard Fila fans will know, there's always been various lines associated with the legendary Italian label such as the White Line or the Snow Time Line. With the growing popularity of all things 80s & sportswear, Fila decided to introduce a brand new line shortly after the release of the cult classic film, The Business. The Gold Line was Fila's very own answer to a more a premium label. The smarter side of Fila now arrives at 80s Casual Classics with some exclusive releases of the revival sublabel.

Originally endorsed by Tamer Hassan & Danny Dyer on the back of the release of The Business from 2005, the Gold Line marked the next chapter for Fila Vintage. Original garments from the sublabel included premium merino wool cardigans & Harrington jackets with the signature F branding ditching the traditional red, blue & white associated with B-Boys & Borg for gold & black. After a brief hiatus the Gold Line is now back by popular demand with a collection of archive inspired pieces. Expect smarter fits, classic sportswear style & monogram prints.
