Fila Courto Vilas track top Danny Dyer

The Fila Courto is The Pinnacle of Pierluigi Rolando's Prestigious White Line

The Fila Courto track top is an original White Line style from Pierluigi Rolando as famously worn by the Argentinian tennis legend, Guillermo Vilas.

First introduced back in 1973, the Fila White Line collection merged premium Italian designer style with performance sportswear. Headed up by the Italian designers, Pierluigi Rolando & Alessandro Galliano, the White Line put Fila light-years ahead on centre court, sticking two fingers up to tennis traditions with stylish driven sportswear & never seen before colourways. Joining forces with a selection of tennis superstars from the mid 70s onward such as Bjorn Borg & Guillermo Vilas, it was these original White Line designs that would cause a seismic shift in subcultures from the Bronx to Bermondsey. OG track top styles like the Fila Vilas, or Courto as it is now known, put the Italian sportswear brand on a completely different level when it came to sportswear in the 1970s. As famously worn by the Argentinean tennis legend, Guillermo Vilas, before he switched his allegiance to Ellesse in the early 1980s, the Fila Vilas track top is probably just about as good as it gets when it comes to the classic White Line stuff from Fila.

First released back in the late 1970s the Vilas featured a classic colour-blocking design, 'Made in Italy' craftsmanship which also boasted the sought after 'Maglificio Biellese' (Biella Knitwear Factory) labelling to the inner collar & a workwear inspired collar.
