The Fila Boxer Terrinda track top was famously worn by the late George Michael on the Wham! 'Club Fantastic Tour' in 1983 and now returns to its spiritual home.
Born out of Pierluigi Rolando's prestigious White Line, the Fila Terrinda is probably just about as good as it gets when it comes to classic 80s sportswear. The Terrinda, first released in 1982, took style driven designer sportswear to all new levels with its biker jacket style collar, padded shoulder detail, white piping, Italian styling and luxurious velour fabric. The expensive price tag and colourful Italian styling made the Terrinda one of the most desirable sportswear styles at the time. There was also another version of the Terrinda, the Fila Boxer, which came literally a year after the Terrinda at a time when a pair of "young guns" were just embarking on their first UK tour. With subtle differences to the original Terrinda, the Boxer marked a new era of colourful sportswear courtesy of Wham's George Michael & Andrew Ridgley.

Formed by George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley in Watford back in 1981, Wham! championed the colourful and easy going sound of 80s pop music. Their debut studio album 'Fantastic' released in 1983 included classic 80s hits such as 'Young Guns', 'Bad Boys' and 'Club Tropicana'. The pop duo glamorised the whole Italian sportswear look of Fila and Sergio Tacchini to young impressionable teenagers throughout their highly profiled musical careers. To celebrate the launch of their first studio album Wham! also embarked on their first UK tour dubbed the 'Club Fantastic Tour'. Starting out in Aberdeen and finishing off in Brighton the tour also saw co-manager Simon Napier-Bell obtain a '50,000 sponsorship with Fila, of which the Wham! boys wore throughout. Sporting classic Fila styles like the Terrinda track top, the Terrinda Boxer track top & tennis shorts, the Wham! boys introduced the Italian sportswear brand to a new generation of 80s pop music fans.
