The Diadora N902 trainer gives a nod the N9002 silhouette which was originally released back in 1992 for a modern spin on an early 90s classic.
As the late 1980s merged in the early 1990s, the humble running shoe had literally become unrecognisable from its early origins as a spike soled shoe. As we entered new era of rave culture, gangster rap & technology so did running trainers. Sole technology was amped up to 11 with the introduction of the very first Air Max trainer in 1987, the Air Max 90 in 1990 and the Air Huarache from Nike in 1991. adidas gave us the EQT Support in 1993 and New Balance gave us the 1500 also in the same year. All these trainers had one thing in common. It was about creating the most innovative designs in sole technology, whether it was "visible air" or ENCAP sole cushioning. For Diadora it was probably the N. series which first came on the running trainer scene back in the early 90s. The N9002 trainer from the original early 90s N. series is now brought back to life with the introduction of the Diadora N902 trainer.

The N. Series was all about the vibrant colourways as much as the trainer technology itself. The early 90s running trainer quickly gained a cult status becoming just as popular on the streets for everyday wear. The N. series famously featured things like Virbasorb sole cushioning technology and EVA support making it a favourite among elite runners.
