Be Someone: The Sergio Tacchini Dallas Track Top From The Business is Back

As famously worn by Frankie played Danny Dyer in the Business from 2005, the Sergio Tacchini Dallas track top now returns to its spiritual home in the iconic sky blue colourway.

Back in 2005 Front Magazine described Nick Love's cult classic The Business as, 'More cocaine than Casino, more guns than Goodfellas and more swearing than Scarface'. Following in the footsteps of The Football Factory, The Business took us back to the colourful Italian sportswear of the 1980s on the 'Costa Del Crime'. Re-igniting a passion of casual sportswear for its original wearers as well as a new mid-noughties consumer, The Business created a revival of retro sportswear like nothing before it. After the release of The Business and the huge demand for the styles featured in the film we worked closely with Fila and Sergio Tacchini to bring back classic 80s styles such as the Terrinda, the Settanta and in this case the Dallas from Sergio Tacchini. An original McEnroe track top style famously worn by Danny Dyer, the Dallas now returns to its spiritual in the iconic sky blue colourway from The Business.

Before the classic Flock of Seagulls soundtrack, Charlie's bar & the peacocking around the pool, the Dallas track top made its name courtesy of the American rock 'n' roll tennis legend John McEnroe. One of the later styles to come from the pinnacle of McEnroe fever following a brief sponsorship deal with Fila and various legendary styles with Sergio Tacchini, the Dallas was famously worn by McEnroe has he posed next to the net with Ivan Lendl for the French Open final in 1984. With Lendl sporting the iconic Argyle polo shirt from adidas, the legendary tennis moment was a testament to casual fashion of the 1980s.
