New MA.STRUM Jackets & Apparel At 80s Casual Classics
The British techwear brand, MA.STRUM, is back for the latest season with a collection of technical MA.STRUM jackets, training inspired sweats and pique polo shirts.
It was 10 years ago when MA.STRUM first burst onto the global technical outerwear scene back in 2009 as part of a very special partnership with the Massimo Osti Archive. Under the control of the late Massimo’s very own son, Lorenzo Osti, the Osti Archive is like the Aladdin’s cave of fabric research, garment dyeing and classic Italian sportswear from the 70s, 80s and 90s. Based out of Bologna, Italy the Osti Archive boasts original archive pieces and previously unreleased designs from Stone Island, C.P. Company and Boneville. Teaming up with the Massimo Osti Archive allowed MA.STRUM to delve deep into Massimo Osti’s legacy with fabric and military design inspiration from original Osti designs. Although MA.STRUM is now completely independent from the Osti Archive, it’s original partnership and Osti archive inspiration is still visible 10 years later. Over the last 10 years MA.STRUM has become one of the most respected and celebrated techwear labels to come out of the UK with a continued focus on the latest technical fabrics, foul weather protection and military inspired designs. Previous fans have included professional boxers such as Kell Brook and Tony Bellew as well as a wealth of musicians, artists, actors and outerwear fanatics. Our latest collection of MA.STRUM jackets have it all from the latest fabric innovation and outerwear function.

For Autumn/Winter 2019, MA.STRUM have now introduced a selection of outerwear, sweats and polo shirts for the latest season. Outerwear highlights include brand new styles like the MA.STRUM Hooded GD Jacket which is crafted from a garment dyed military inspired cotton twill. Thanks to the dyeing process the robust cotton garbardine fabric features a unique finish to each individual piece. Other new outerwear styles to land at 80s Casual Classics includes the MA.STRUM Velo Sotfshell Overhead Jacket which puts a modern techwear spin on the classic military smock silhouette. Highlights include a waterproof and windproof softshell fabric with an elasticated hood in tonal nylon, a kangaroo style pocket to the chest and the signature compass badge to the right shoulder.

Alongside the outerwear, we’ve also introduced an assortment of sweats such as the MA.STRUM Training Crew Sweat. A staple piece from the collection, the sportswear inspired sweatshirt is available in a selection of new colourways such as spartan red and dark khaki. The Training Crew Sweat features a soft handle loopback cotton fabric as well as the compass logo to the chest. Finally we’ve also got styles like the MA.STRUM Pique Polo Shirt which features a 100% cotton pique fabric and a two button placket to the front for that classic ‘buttoned up’ polo shirt look.
