With appreciation from a range of musical royalty such as the Modfather himself, Paul Weller, Delicious Junction first launched in 2010 with over 20 years experience in the footwear game. Bridging the gap between the original styles of the Ska, Soul, Mod & 2 Tone scene's with the latest footwear trends, the brand specialises in everything from monkey boots to classic loafers. Working alongside a range of musicians & creatives connected to the UK's Ska scene, the brand also boasts an annual magazine 'All in Good Time' focusing on style, music & subculture. The Clarks Desert boot is a variation of the classic Chukka style, and probably one of the most well known as far as the Chukka family goes. The Chukka itself really gained momentum in the 1950s and 1960s courtesy of Hollywood icons like Steve McQueen & Marlon Brando. The style quickly gained the attention of the Mod subculture and was often styled with sharp Italian suits, parkas & polo shirts. The Chukka boot has seen various versions over the years from big burley leather versions to moc toe suede versions. A classic Chukka boot which takes inspiration from Steve McQueen, hence the name, & the 1968 neo-noir action thriller in which McQueen wears a pair of Chukka's throughout. Featuring suede uppers in a selection of colourways such as ginger, chocolate & black, the Bullitt features the classic thick sole Chukka design.
