The adidas Gazelle Trainer Arrives in Triple White

The adidas Gazelle 'triple white' trainer puts an all white spin on the classic adi style for a super fresh 3 stripes silhouette.
You might remember the white trainers with jeans trend of the early to mid noughties with Nick Love's 'The Football Factory' from 2004 perfectly capturing the era. It was strictly all white Classics, Club C's, Stan Smiths, Lacoste & triple white trainers in the fight scenes. Worn with designer denim and technical outerwear, the popular terrace trainer trend would pave the way for the next chapter of Casual fashion. The classic early noughties look is now brought back to life courtesy of "die marke mit den 3 streifen" with the introduction of the adidas Gazelle 'triple white' trainer. As you probably already know we're big fans of 'all white' trainers at 80s Casual Classics and this latest triple white version of the Gazelle ticks all the boxes for us.

First released back in 1968, the adidas Gazelle trainer was actually one of the very first adidas silhouettes to feature suede uppers as oppose to leather. Ironically the PUMA Suede, or Crack as it was originally known, was also released in the same year. It was typical Dassler brother rivalry. Worn by the West Germany national football team as an all purpose training shoe, the Gazelle became a popular style for its revolutionary lightweight feel as oppose to traditional leather training shoes which were heavier on foot. The Gazelle also marked the start of adidas trainers with references to animals in their names alongside other notable silhouettes such as the Jaguar and the Panther. A forever popular style with the Casuals the Gazelle's legacy on the world of 3 stripes is literally like nothing else. With various models and revival releases we could literally talk all day about the legendary 3 stripes suede silhouette. On this occasion however it's strictly 'all white'.

Now introduced in a super fresh 'triple white' colourway, the adidas Gazelle trainer arrives with soft premium leather uppers as oppose to the traditional suede from OG releases. Featuring white leather perforated 3 stripes to the sidewalls & Gazelle branding in gold foiling to the lateral sides this is probably the cleanest Gazelle we've ever seen. Finished off with original Trefoil branding to the tongue and heel tab this triple white iteration will look great with just about anything. Teamed up with denim for that classic white trainers and denim style or with a pair of shorts for the holiday season, the triple white Gazelle is probably one of the most versatile trainers you can own in your footwear closet.
