80s Casual Classics agree that there isn't many of higher quality than Patagonia when it comes to clothing apparel. Shop our range of T-shirts, Sweatshirts, Jackets and Coats, Shorts, Hats and other Accessories.

Founded in 1953 by fourteen year old climber Yvon Chouinard in Southern California, Patagonia have forged a formidable range of outdoor clothing. The clothing area of the business was first started in the late 1960’s with “Active Sportswear”, the range consisted of basic grey sweatshirts, trousers and rugby shirts. During the early stages for Patagonia the clothing items would be neutral colours, such as grey, tan or forest green, this all changed in the 1980’s though.

Patagonia introduced new bold, vivid and exciting colours into the product line such as French red, aloe and iced mocha. The new colour schemes proved to be extremely popular and the appeal of the brand started to move out further than just the climbing community and into the fashion world and Patagonia started to grow at a rapid pace.

Since 1996 Patagonia have been using 100% organic cotton in any of their products that contain it.  Patagonia continue to search for the most environmentally friendly way to produce its products, and so products that were originally intended to allow its customers to explore the natural beauty of the world’s different environments are now helping to keep it as it is.

The American brand with roots from exploring the great outdoors makes an appearance at 80s Casual Classics with a range of must have styles including, coats, T-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, bags and many more.
