Established in Japan in 1947 by Mr Tsunemi, Edwin have a strong passion for denim. In 1951 Edwin were the first company to manufacture denim in Japan and went onto develop high quality jeans.
Edwin have always been one step ahead of the competition and were the first company ever to successfully produce an ‘old wash’ style jean in the 1970’s and then changed the denim industry in the 80’s when they invented ‘stone washing’, this has influenced all companies producing in today’s market.
It wasn’t until 2003 that Edwin entered the European market and was able to showcase their range of products to a whole new audience.
Today, Edwin are still a forward thinking brand who embrace their Japanese roots and continue to progress forward at the forefront of design and fabrics whilst still maintaining a stunning look.
