Winter Dressers #1
The winter season is all about getting the best gear on without sacrificing your casual tastes.
With a title like ‘Winter Dressers’, we could start rabbiting on about glitzy party frocks, but that’s not very likely is it. However, for those who know their stuff and understand what we’re all about, ‘Winter Dressers’ is basically a concept of winter gear for the dressers out there. Those who may opt for the classic Borg’ and Fila shorts combo on their summer holidays still need to look just as good in the colder months. As the holiday season draws closer and closer we have put together a collection of smart winter outfits to satisfy the dressers out there throughout the season. Whilst others may be opting for a ghastly looking festive jumper, we’ve got a great selection of quality designer knitwear, classic trainers, big sturdy boots and smart casual shirting for them gatherings, nights out and social events over the holiday period.
Outfit #1 features the classic Lois Dallas Jumbo cords which have become a bit of a staple here at 80s Casual Classics over the years alongside some ‘new’ New Balance footwear with the classic 420 re-engineered in suede. The GANT wool zip jumper finishes off the outfit and is a perfect bit of kit for layering under outerwear and over shirts etc for them colder days.
Outfit #2 features the recently introduced label, Tommy Hilfiger Jeans, with some classic dark wash stretch cotton denim and the 100% cotton cable knit jumper both finished off with the signature red blue and white logo. If ifs big winter boots you’re after then the Caterpillar Chronicle boots are sure to satisfy your ‘stomping’ needs with their lifelong heritage of crafting functional and sturdy work boots.
Outfit #3 features the classic Aquascutum Club Check which no dressers’ wardrobe would be complete without, whether its found on a shirt, scarf or mac. The Aquascutum York Club Check shirt is the dictionary definition of smart casual, well to us dressers anyway, and is the perfect bit of kit for the smarter occasions as well as mixing it up with classic trainers. Other items include the dark wash Lois jeans which are still proudly made in Spain as well as the classic court shoe from PUMA, the Liga trainer in whisper white.
Outfit #4 features some festive colour coordination with a shirt and trousers combo from Lois and GANT with the Lois Sierra Needle cords in plum and the GANT Tech Prep check shirt in port red. The outfit is finished off with the Kickers Hi Boots in navy leather, which could quite possibly be the best Kickers style ever released, and a great smarter alternative to the usual trainers.
