Introducing The Vardag Anorak From Fjällräven
The Fjällräven Vardag Anorak comes in the classic cagoule style and features the Swedish brands’ signature G-1000 fabric.
First introduced by Ake Nordin in 1960, the last 60 years has seen Fjällräven build a solid reputation for outdoors apparel, accessories & everything else you need to survive in the great outdoors. First specialising in durable backpacks with military inspiration, Ake grew the Arctic Fox logo brand to specialise in sleeping bags, tents & more importantly…outerwear. It’s the outerwear connection for many of us that saw us first fall in love with the Swedish outdoors brand. There’s a certain aesthetic that Fjällräven carries that you just can’t get with any other brand. Fabrics that are made to last a life time, military inspired designs & more pockets than you can probably ever physically use. Then there’s the garment tech like the brand’s signature G-1000 material that will keep you protected against the elements year after year. The latest Fjällräven Vardag Anorak is the perfect bit of kit for the changing seasons and also features the famous fabric.

The casual connection of the brand was born on the cold, wet & windy terraces of the North of England. Classic outerwear styles like the Greenland jacket proved to be more than just a ‘does what he says on the tin’ type jacket but they also looked great with casual shirts, jumpers, jeans & trainers for the ultimate winter casual look. Over the years the Arctic Fox logo, which usually features on the left sleeve, has become a sign of quality & craftsmanship among the terraces & the casual elite. If you’ve never owned a bit of Fjällräven kit before then it’s probably about the time that you did.
