adidas Firebird Tracktop & Trainer Combos
We’ve teamed the adidas Firebird tracktop up with a selection of classic adidas trainers from the Stan Smith to the Samba.
As well as an ever growing archive of footwear & classic trainers styles, the tracksuit is arguably the main sportswear apparel silhouette that adidas has ever stamped its 3 stripes on. Yes their might be some retro adidas football tops from the 80s or 90s that could be classed as contenders, but when all said and done the tracksuit will always be the adidas apparel king. The sporting and subculture connection of the adidas tracksuit has seen the original track style worn by a vast range of celebrities, artists, athletes and rappers going all the way back to the 1970s to modern day. OG tracksuit style like the adidas Firebird have become icons in themselves as seen on the originals casuals & B-boys of the 80s and the 90s Britpop scene.

Originally designed for track athletes, the Firebird boasts a vast sporting heritage. A classic 80s sportswear style with its original archive design the Firebird was re-introduced for 2019. The OG model featured an oversized trefoil logo to the rear and became a highly respected warm up track style with athletes all over the world. It was the 90s where the Firebird really made its mark with the 90s sportswear craze thanks to pop culture and the likes of Robbie Williams who were regularly seen sporting the classic 3 stripes style. The 90s also saw the revival of retro sportswear from the 70s & 80s with the emergence of Britpop. The Firebird was a style that played a key role in this retro revival.
