The adidas Bermuda Trainer Is Now Available In Some Brand New Colourways
The adidas Bermuda trainer first surfaced in the trainer world as part of the 3 Stripes Island Series back in the early 80s.
As far as modern day trainer re-issues go, they don’t really get much better than the original 3 stripes releases from the early casual era. As new adi’ styles are introduced its always the classic 3 stripes stuff that will get people talking from the original wearers themselves to the new wave of adidas collectors and enthusiasts. After the revival of the highly anticipated re-release of the the adidas Island Series, 3 Stripes fanatics went island mad, with the likes of the Trinidad, Tahiti, Samoa, Jamaica & Bermuda getting re-issued back into the trainer world. As the European City Series looked to the continent and their capitals, the Island Series looked further a field to more exotic lands from the Caribbean Sea to the French Polynesia. The revival of the Island Series sparked a renewed interest and admiration for classic styles such as the Bermuda which will now be dropping in some fresh new colourways at 80s Casual Classics.
Following on from the Bermuda’s highly anticipated re-release the original Island Series trainer is now offered in an assortment of colourways such as deep sand, similar in appearance to the original hues of the Hawaii trainer. The archive silhouette features suede uppers with contrasting 3 stripes, heel tab and trefoil logo to the tongue.
In addition to the deep sand we’ll also be introducing some brand new colourways of the classic Island Series shoe with bright yellow and green as previously seen on the Jeans MK2 as well as red/black. The yellow/green Bermuda colourway is available now from 80s Casual Classics with more stock set to land later in the month. The red/black Bermuda is now available to pre-order with an expected delivery window around mid June.
