Welcome to 80s Casual Classics born from the store Planet Clothing.

Our online business has primarily been centred around the growth of 80s Casual Classic early 2006 although as a store we stock a wide selection of todays classic brands and attempt to buy in a non high street way to ensure we are unique and inspiring. 80s casual classics is well documented on other pages in brief we celebrate huge new interest in classic 80s sports retro vintage product from the likes of Adidas Originals, Fila Vintage white line , Sergio Tacchini Vintage, Diadora elites, Gabicci. We have had much involvement in acquiring the wardrobe for Nick love and we live mainly for the sports casual era. 

Our Main store in Bedford at 12-13 THE ARCADE - is not far from many places A1, M1, M6 an hour from London an hour from the Midlands. Many of our customers are taking regular trips to the store.

Meet The Staff

OUR ARCADE IS BEDFORDS MINI CLOTHING CAPITAL - across 3 differing stores you can get Fila Vintage, Sergio Tacchini, Adidas Originals, Lacoste, Lyle and Scott, Gabicci G, Diesel, Duck and Cover, Superdry, Firetrap, Replay, G-star, Full Circle, Bench, White Stuff, Fly53, Gio Goi, Diadora, Fly London, UGG boots, K-swiss, Peter Werth, Henleys, Paul and Shark, Hackett, Ted Baker, Converse, Cast Iron, carhartt,  to name a few.

Est in 1993- Planet Mens and Planet Boutique  now have retail stores in Bedford and Hitchin, herts selling both mens and ladies clothing, footwear and accessories. Both locations are in victoran arcades of off the main high streets. Originally our clothes stores were born on the back of a healthy music scene established by 2 music djs and promoters as a much needed town injection to a healthy music scene. Bands played gigs with us and then stopped off in our store as did the punters. Oasis first ever tour headline show was in little old Bedford and Brit Pop soon kicked off here - Bluetones / Shed 7 / supergrass etc etc . Mod / Northern soul Blow up dos , acid jazz dos, ltj bukem drum and bass.The Farm played a warm up to 250, Paul Heaton off Beautiful south  played an unnannounced show in our back yard to 100+ people. Bez and sean ryder dj'd. Ocean Colour scene played 7 shows in their quest for recognition.

Planet has grown from a tiny backstreet combined sexes store to two prime arcade locations

offering seperate mens and ladies stores in each of the towns. As a young fledgling company our first retro delvings was original adidas with many pairs of adidas jeans and cords. The upshot of which was two visits from Oasis who were seen decked out in our trainers in the "Live Forever" video.

Our aim is to offer an interesting array of product not usually found in the renowned clone towns, so although you will probably be aware of the brands, looks and product we sell but the chances are we will have a twist on our offering! Our staffs knowledge and experience selling clothing will be far superior to those found in the the dull shopping malls of today.  If you would like some good old fashioned service, a smile and a chat then Planet Clothing could be the place for you...
