Founded in 1906 by Englishman William J. Riley, New Balance was fully focused on producing high quality footwear for people who had jobs that meant they spent all day on their feet. By the 1950’s though, New Balance had moved into developing and producing trainers and even tailoring bespoke trainers for athletes.

The big breakthrough into the mainstream market for New Balance was in 1976 when they released the 320 model that was awarded first place in Runner’s World Magazine giving the brand exposure. Since then New Balance have continued to develop high-tech running shoes but also expanded into different sports such as football, basketball and tennis.

New Balance trainers give the wearer the perfect mix of functionality and fashion, meaning people can perform whilst still looking good. Here at 80s Casual Classics we are delighted to be able to deliver great looking trainers from New Balance in a range of sizes.
